Elwin Wong is the Group Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Ross Stores, Inc. which is a $16 billion Fortune 200 company operating more than 1,800 stores across the US with nearly 100,000 employees. He is responsible for enterprise-wide security leading Governance, Risk, and Compliance, Security Architecture and Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, and overall Cyber Defense. Elwin is an innovative leader who has over 20 years of expertise in security and technology. With more than a decade of success implementing large-scale enterprise security programs within the retail industry, Elwin brings a holistic view of security with a balanced risk tolerance that effectively enables the business. Currently, Elwin is leading the modernization of the cybersecurity program and driving strategies to enable new business goals and objectives in his company’s next phase of evolution.
Elwin’s passion in the investment domain has also led him to take on other active roles as the Chief Revenue Officer for Double Helix Capital and Chief Investment Officer for Reventon Capital which are commodity trading investment firms. Leveraging his expertise in security and investment, Elwin also advises company founders and invests in several of the next generation cybersecurity startup companies.
