About Quincy Castro
Quincy Castro is Chief Information Security Officer at real-time data platform Redis, with over 10 years of industry experience in both offensive and defensive cyber operations. Prior to Redis, Quincy served as Chief Information Security Officer at Wabtec Corporation, a S&P/Fortune 500 advanced manufacturing firm supplying the global rail and transport industries. In this role, Quincy led a strategic build-out of the company’s cybersecurity programs and services as part of a multi-billion dollar M&A transaction. Previously, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at GE Transportation and held various positions within the U.S. federal government.
Quincy has taught on the intersection of cybersecurity and national security as an adjunct faculty member at Marquette University. He also serves as an advisor to early stage startups and venture investors.
Quincy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington.
